Jay and Millie's Visit

We were so lucky to have Bret's parents come to visit us in San Angelo after Molly was born. They flew into San Antonio so we decided to take our first ever vacation with Molly.

The first night we took Jay and Millie to see the Riverwalk. It was the very end of November so the Christmas lights were up and the Riverwalk looked even more magical than usual.

The next day we went back downtown to see the Alamo. We weren't able to catch the live presentation that we'd hoped to see, but we enjoyed wandering around.

Right across from the Alamo was this gigantic tree. It had an ornament with the name of every city in Texas. San Angelo was one of the first ones we spotted. :)

Next we took Jay and Millie to see the Japanese Tea Gardens. It was still really beautiful, considering that it was winter time, but we wish they could have seen it when everything is blooming. There's not a lot to do at the tea gardens, but it was nice to walk around for a few minutes.

Then we drove to Fredericksburg to walk up and down Main Street and see a show at the one and only Rockbox theatre. It was a Christmas-themed show and as usual, we love it. It was a little scary taking Molly, but she did great. And guess what?! I won the birthday drawing so we landed a free cd and 4 tickets to come back to another show!

Then it was back to San Angelo for the rest of their stay. We took them on a few drives around town, walked around ASU campus, and did a whole lot of snuggling with Miss Molly. We hope they didn't get bored because we sure loved having them there with us!

Thanks Jay and Millie for taking the time to come see us. We love you!
